The St. Louis Cardinals, back in the hunt for October, will have decisions to make in less than two weeks when rosters expand.

Many questions remain for the St. Louis Cardinals and the 2018 season. Among these are the names who might be included in September call-ups.

More from St Louis Cardinals Rumors

Many names have been provided in the preceding slides. Some will receive the nod while others will not. Some have great promise and others do not. Some will remain with the St. Louis Cardinals organization while others will not.

As was mentioned in the first slide, many decisions in September will be predicated on the paths of Dexter Fowler, Yairo Munoz, and the tandem of Michael Wacha and Adam Wainwright. Once the Cardinals make decisions on these names, they can move forward on others.

Oh, and one other name to consider is Trevor Rosenthal who is planning his return to baseball. Could the St. Louis Cardinals find themselves reuniting with Rosey? Could he be a September addition for the club?

Only a few days remain in the month of August and then all of these questions will receive answers. Likewise, the St. Louis Cardinals will have a better understanding of their future in 2018 and/or their focus for 2019.
