Nolan Arenado

It’s hard to believe Nolan Arenado’s two-run home run in the first inning of Tuesday’s game could be overshadowed. But that’s what happens when Albert Pujols is the next batter and he launches his first home run after returning to the Cardinals.

So let’s take a look at Arenado’s home run. It was his third of the young season. And, it was spectacular.

Arenado’s was 1-for-4 on Tuesday.

Arenado earned NL Player of the Week honors after an impressive weekend against the Pirates. It will be fun to see all his work from the offseason come together and flourish. There is no question he should already be a Most Valuable Player candidate.
