Not only has Pham been having shirts made this offseason, but he’s also hosting a free baseball camp for kids ages 6-13 at his high school in Las Vegas tomorrow. The camp will be from 9 am – 12 PM, and will feature instruction on all aspects of the game from Pham, Chris Carter, and former Cardinals’ pitcher Michael Blazek.

It really is neat seeing players give back to their community and teaching kids the game of baseball. Kids may be attracted to sports like football and hockey right now, so for these guys to take time out of their offseason and holiday time is great to see. It could go a long way with kids and hopefully spark a love and appreciation for the game.

Pham will be a key part of the 2016 season as he will be a valuable player who can play all over the OF and give the Cardinals some flexibility in their potential using of Stephen Piscotty at first base. I for one am excited to see how he does in 2016 and how much he can improve. So, go buy that shirt Cardinals’ fans!
