Cody Stanley certainly came to play on Monday night. Stanley reached base on all four of his plate appearances which included 3 RBI’s as the Memphis Redbirds defeated the Fresno Grizzlies by a score of 5-1 and won their eighth straight game.
The scoring began in the bottom of the first inning when Matt Duffy of the Grizzlies hit an RBI single to give them an early 1-0 lead. However that lead was short lived as a Cody Stanley RBI single tied the game up at 1 in the top of the second inning. The Redbirds would not look back from there.
