A native of Venezuela, he played for both the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago Cubs. Playing for Caracas of the Venezuelan Winter League, the pitcher has struck out 14 batters over ten innings pitched in nine games.

As for Moore, the former first round pick was the third baseman this season with Memphis. He hit .236/.328/.397 with 15 home runs and 58 RBI in 121 games. His last Major League game came during the 2012 season.
