Lars Nootbaar is the hypeman we all need

After Paul DeJong was called safe at home after a review, Lars Nootbaar whipped out the pepper grinder to celebrate just how spicy DeJong has been lately. Nootbaar is the ultimate hypeman!

Check out Nootbaar racing home earlier in the sixth inning on DeJong’s double.

On Saturday, Nootbaar made this spectacular catch in right field.  Tremendous effort from the young outfielder.

And, Nootbaar has the crowd yelling “NOOT!” in celebration of this play. Just a tremendous play. Bally Sports Midwest broadcaster and former Cardinal reliever Brad Thompson was correct in his assessment … Noot is a fan favorite, indeed!
