Here is the Great American Ballpark Weather for the St. Louis Cardinals series against the Cincinnati Reds Series from April 22-24.

The St. Louis Cardinals are visiting Cincinnati this weekend for a series against the Reds. Entering the weekend, they are 7-4 and are tied with the Milwaukee Brewers atop the National League Central.

The weather for each game of the series looks promising. Via The Weather Channel:

Cincinnati Forecast for April 22

Friday is supposed to be partly cloudy with a high of 77 degrees (15% chance of precipitation, 8 mph winds).

Cincinnati Forecast for April 23

Saturday looks even better, as it’s also supposed to be partly cloudy with a high of 88 degrees (10% chance of precipitation, 14 mph winds).

Cincinnati Forecast for April 24

Sunday, meanwhile, is supposed to be partly cloudy with a high of 83 degrees (0% chance of precipitation, 16 mph winds).

The series should go on without any hiccups or any real threat of rain, which is good for the Cardinals. The Reds (2-10) are the worst team in baseball and pose little threat to them, presenting a realistic opportunity for the Cardinals to sweep them and separate themselves from the Brewers early on in the season.

If anything, the breezy temperatures should give the Cardinals an advantage as long as the winds are blowing out. With a lineup filled with big boppers such as Nolan Arenado, Tyler O’Neill and Paul Goldschmidt, among others, there’s a good chance that they’ll be able to take advantage of the strong winds. The Reds, meanwhile, have hit only nine home runs this season, which ranks 24th in MLB, while the Cardinals rank 10th in home runs hit (13).

It’s unlikely that the Cardinals will need any help in defeating the Reds, though. But it certainly doesn’t hurt for the wind to be blowing out, especially with this lineup, and with them coming out with two of their top starting pitchers – Adam Wainwright and Steven Matz – as well as Dakota Hudson.
