It’s too early to make any definite conclusions about this version of the St. Louis Cardinals, but here are four random thoughts after the first week.

After splitting the four game series in the Milwaukee, several thoughts came to mind about the St. Louis Cardinals 2022 season to date. These thoughts are somewhat random and not really connected with each other.

Although many already have, I know it’s really too early to form any concrete judgments on this team. It’s still a work in progress, so panic or elation is not yet called for. You really need a couple of months before determining what the St. Louis Cardinals are going to be in 2022.

But, in any case, here are four thoughts on the Cardinals thus far.
