Tommy Edman

Many believed the beginning of Tommy Edman’s career with the St. Louis Cardinals was a fluke.

But, he’s showing the doubters. He’s getting off to a good start, once again.

On Thursday, Tommy Edman knocked his second home run of the season on a fly to center field off of Jandel Gustave.  The blast traveled 423-feet at 105.4 mph.

Amazing!

He did it again in the fifth inning of Friday’s game. Tommy Edman knocked his third home run of the season on a fly to right-center field, scoring Edmundo Sosa. The home run traveled 395-feet at 101.3 mph.

Edman was one for four on Saturday and Sunday, with some great defensive plays including this diving grab.

It’s nice to see Edman playing better than many anticipated during Spring Training. He’s heating up at the right time and should keep things going in Miami.
