2. Light Blue Road Alternate

The reintroduction of the classic light blue road uniform before the 2019 season was a huge hit for Cardinals fans.

Made popular during their run in the late 70s into the mid 80s, the Cardinals brought back the jerseys in their full glory, back with the iconic blue pants and wearing them during Saturday road outings. Like the cream jerseys though, the club replaced the “Cardinals” chest logo with “St. Louis”, which is a nice difference from the classic light blue jerseys that fans grew to love.

If anyone doubts the popularity of these uniforms, just take a look out in the crowd during St. Louis home games over the last few seasons. Before 2019, red was the overwhelming color in the seats, but now there are thousands of fans that enter the stadium rocking the new light blue look. Hopefully this means the club will keep them around for decades to come.
