5. Gray Road

Taking the last spot on the list, the Cardinals away jersey is actually one of my favorite gray jerseys in all of baseball.

Personal preference, grey is not my typical favorite set of uniforms for any team, but the way that the Cardinals red hats and birds on the bat contrast with the grey makes them really appealing. There has been some debate among fans as to whether or not the red caps should be replaced by the navy caps, which may be a nice change of pace for this uniform set.

4. Cream Alternate Home

Added prior to the 2013 season, the current home alternate has become a staple of Saturday home games in St. Louis.

This may be a bit of a controversial placement, as I do really enjoy these jerseys. First, the cream look is a nice change of pace from the classic white that the club wears in their other home games. The jersey pays homage to many of the classic uniforms that the team has, which is a nice touch for a club which such a storied history.

My favorite part of the jersey is how it replaces the “Cardinals” chest logo with “St. Louis.” I personally love when home alternates incorporate part of the city that they represent, and this is a simple yet great way of doing so.
