Harrison Bader

Harrison Bader finally won a Gold Glove this season. He hit the ball with power and flew around the bases. Bader finally showed what many knew to be true. Bader is an all-around great player and will do whatever it takes to help his team win.

In the fourth inning of the Sept. 5 game with the Milwaukee Brewers, Corbin Burnes gave up two singles and a walk to Molina to load the bases for Bader.

Bader knocked what became a two-run double under the glove of third baseman Eduardo Escobar.  Bader was called out at second initially but the ruling was successfully challenged by the Cardinals.

Bader showed once again that he can put the ball in play and make things happen.

In the top of the seventh inning of the July 22 game against the Cubs, Bader made this jaw-dropping catch to end the inning.

The reaction of Bader’s teammates to the play is just about as great as his reaction. The Cubs fans in attendance were likely too shocked.

In the seventh inning of the Cards July 18 game against the San Fransico Giants practically dove headfirst to first to beat out the tag, allowing Jose Rondon to score from third and break the one-all tie.

This ended up being the game-winning play for the Cardinals, as they won 2-1.

In the fourth inning of the game on July 19 against the Cubs, Bader got a hit to shortstop to score a run and reload the bases with this play.

Javier Baez seemed shocked!
