Paul Goldschmidt

Paul Goldschmidt is a three-time winner of the Gold Glove at first base, and looking to get his first win since 2017. It would be his first honor since joining the Cardinals.

In 2021, Goldschmidt had 10 defensive runs saved, six outs above average with four runs prevented. He finished 105 double plays. He has a fielding percentage of .998. Goldy had only two errors and one throwing error during the season.

Goldschmidt is up against Max Muncy of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves.
