Now we have one of the fan favorites for the St. Louis Cardinals, outfielder Harrison Bader. Before Bader was winning over the hearts of many Cardinals fans, he was a star at the University of Florida.

Days after being selected in the third round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the St. Louis Cardinals, Bader had the opportunity to be a National Champion as well as his Florida Gators headed into the College World Series.

Bader’s efforts in the College World Series went a long way for the Gators. During his time in Omaha, Bader batted .348 to go with two home runs and five runs batted in over five games. Even though the Gators fell in the semifinals to the Virginia Cavaliers in heartbreaking fashion, Bader was named to the 2015 College World Series All-Tournament team based off of his strong performance.
