Cardinals Hot Stove debuts on Fox Sports Midwest

Earlier today, Cardinals Hot Stove made its offseason debut on Fox Sports Midwest.

Hosting the first episode were Jim Hayes and Rick Horton, which included an interview with Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak. Mo discussed the newest acquisitions, who he believes will be the most important pitcher in next year’s rotation, and his agenda for the Winter Meetings.

Also making its offseason debut on Wednesday night was The Cardinals Hot Stove League Show on 1120 KMOX and select Cardinals Radio Network affiliates. Broadcaster Mike Claiborne is joined by new co-host Chris Hrabe as they bring in-depth coverage of offseason news. The show, starting its 4th season, airs for 2 hours each Wednesday from 7-9 PM CT through March 26th.

For a fourth year, The Cardinals Hot Stove League Show returns to 1120 KMOX and select Cardinals Radio Network affiliates with broadcaster Mike Claiborne and new co-host Chris Hrabe providing in-depth coverage of offseason Cardinals news.

Guests will range from manager Mike Matheny, general manager John Mozeliak, broadcasters Mike Shannon and John Rooney, current, and former players, etc.

Derrick Goold, who was on today’s show, comments on the acquisition of Peter Bourjos by saying that he “will give Carlos Gomez a run for the Gold Glove.” Comparing Bourjos to Jon Jay, Goold says, “You’re going from an average CF… to perhaps the best CF in the game.”
