- Daniel Descalso had two singles and scored a run.
- Tony Cruz hit a single and scored a run.
- Rafael Furcal hit his 15th double and third triple in a two hit, two RBI performance.
- Adam Wainwright pitched six innings and only allowed two earned runs. He gave up five hits and a walk.
- Edward Mujica, Mitchell Boggs, and Jason Motte each pitched perfect innings to close the game out. Motte picked up his 27th save.

- Jon Jay and Matt Holliday were held hitless. Jay did reach base on a walk, however, and now has a 14 game on base streak.
