Monday Poll Question – 9/26/11

It’s been awhile since we’ve talked about Albert Pujols, so why not? Everyone knows that it’s quite possible that the three-time MVP played his last game in a Cardinals uniform at Busch Stadium yesterday afternoon. The thought of it is enough to make many in St. Louis sick to their stomach, but it cannot be avoided. Cards fans showed their love and appreciation for the free-agent-to-be with every at-bat, giving him a standing ovation in the first inning to which he tipped his batting helmet. I realize that the NL Wild Card race takes priority over the Pujols situation, but this is a particularly interesting question. Not only does your answer show your confidence in the organization to get a deal done with Albert, it shows your confidence in this team overtaking the Braves in the next three days to advance to the postseason.
