Ian Snell To Make A Comeback?

Less than a month ago Ian Snell decided he would rather retire at a young age than play minor baseball with the Cardinals. Today word is he is having a peculiar, sudden change of heart.

The 29 year old Snell has spent time with the Pirates and Mariners in the past, never to live up to his full potential on a big league stage. The Cardinals brought him into Spring training and eventually decided to keep him under a minor league deal. This obviously didn’t sit very well with him and it prompted him to retire very abruptly.

At this time he has not given truth to anything, but his agent said he is already looking to make a comeback, possibly even with the Cardinals. One has to think the Cardinals would be the best option out there for him, who has a better reputation of bringing broken down pitchers back from obscurity than Dave Duncan.
