If you haven’t noticed, Redbird Rants has added a new voice to help cover Cardinals baseball. Alex Brown, a junior at Central Bucks South High School in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, will be contributing to the site for the rest of the season and beyond. He has had a passion for sports since he was a little kid and he hopes to one day attend Syracuse University and become a play by play sports broadcaster. That makes two ‘Cuse fans on RR for any college basketball fans out there. Alex enjoys just about every sport, but his favorites are hockey, baseball, and football. He is a big Capitals and Alex Ovechkin fan too for all you hockey fans. He currently plays basketball, soccer, and golf. Alex’s favorite college sports teams are Syracuse, Temple, and Villanova. He is looking forward to writing for Redbird Rants and sees it as a great step toward achieving his long term goal.
I’m extremely excited to have a partner on the site and think that it will only shoot to new heights with Alex on board. He got his first post up examining possibilities for the Cards as the hot stove heats up and should be contributing once a week until he gets comfortable. Over time, he should be contributing a few times a week, so get ready for more quality content from RR as the Cards chase after the division title. St. Louis has been on fire since the All-Star break and we look forward to a big second half of baseball.
Anyway, welcome Alex. And be sure to look out for his work in the coming weeks.
