The St. Louis Cardinals are expanding their ticket sales to a new monthly service allowing fans to receive tickets to all home games if they subscribe.

The St. Louis Cardinals are offering a new ticket package service to all fans for the 2017 season. They announced Wednesday that there is now a monthly “subscription” plan available for $29.99 that will grant fans the opportunity to attend as many Cardinals home games as they want for that month. The official release states:

"The St. Louis Cardinals announced the launch of the Cardinals Ballpark Pass, a new ticket subscription service that gives fans the opportunity to attend as many Cardinals home games as they want each month, for a monthly fee of $29.99.  On sale now at cardinals.com/pass, the Cardinals Ballpark Pass covers all Cardinals home games except Opening Day (April 2) and will be utilized in conjunction with the MLB.com Ballpark mobile app.On each game date, Cardinals Ballpark Pass subscribers will receive a Standing Room ticket delivered digitally to their smartphone through the Ballpark app."

For a given month, $30 worth of baseball is relatively easy for fans to consume. The passes are for standing room only but fans should not have issues finding an unused seat for a game, especially if it is during the week.

The release also notes that fans can “enjoy the game, pregame activities and ballpark atmosphere from the Budweiser Bowtie Bar in the left field porch, the Ford Plaza in center field, the Perficient Perch in the infield pavilion or Riverview Corner in the right field pavilion, among other areas.” Additionally, the monthly pass authorizes fans to any promotional giveaway tied to the game that you attend.

The subscription is monthly and the charges are automatically recurring so you will be unable to transfer your tickets to someone else. However, if you live in the St. Louis area and are a big St. Louis Cardinals fan, this is an easy, cheap way to get your fill of baseball in.
