Well the time has arrived! After a near month long tournament, we have reached the end and a winner has been crowned. It was a very close match-up, with the winner taking 56% of the overall vote. Who won? Find out after the jump.

The 1944 World Series Champions have been voted as your choice for the greatest Cardinals team of all-time! The 1944 St Louis Cardinals were led by future Hall of Famer Stan Musial, MVP shortstop Marty Marion, and former MVP pitcher Mort Cooper. With Cooper winning the award in ’42, Musial in ’43, and Marion in ’44, the team featured three consecutive MVP winners. They won 105 games, easily winning the National League pennant by 14.5 games. In the World Series, they defeated the cross-town rival St Louis Browns in five games. The Redbird Rants staff thanks everyone for voting and helping us crown a winner!
