I’ve been a little out of the loop the last couple days celebrating a birthday, the number of which I will not disclose. It was much warmer where I was, certainly warm enough to remind me that all the Cardinals will be in Jupiter before long. While I was gone the staff here at Redbird Rants has gamely keep the site afloat with quality Cardinals’ content.

With a little less than a week before the opening of spring training we’re excited to flood the site with our takes on the happenings around camp, the upcoming regular season and hopefully beyond. Until then, here are some posts from the last week you may have missed.

I spent most of the Super Bowl with my eyes glued to the television but my fingers were typing about the Cardinals.

Jason Evans wrote about the similarities of the Cardinals run to the World Series Championships and the New York Giants run to the Super Bowl title.

Chris Ferguson gave us his take on what it takes to have the winning formula and go all the way.

Justin McClary completed the infield portion of his review of Cardinals’ prospects with a look at the shortstops.

Dennis McHawes ran his weekly Who am I? Name that Cardinal piece. How many of you are guessing these players correctly?

Get ready readers, the upcoming week is the last one before we get knee deep in the Cardinals’ quest for 12 in ’12.
