Nolan Arenado

It is still a thrill that Arenado is a St. Louis Cardinal.

In Thursday’s opening day match with the Pirates,  Arenado hit a home run to left field in the eighth inning, scoring Goldschmidt. The homer traveled 367-feet with an exit velocity of 104.8 mph.

On Saturday, he was an impressive 4-for-4 for the Cardinals. He hit three doubles and a single, adding three-RBI.

On Sunday,  Arenado hit his second home run of the season on a liner to left field off Bryse Wilson. The blast traveled 377-feet with an exit velocity of 107.1 mph.

It’s just the start of the season and it will be fun to watch how Arenado does this season after working in the offseason to improve little imperfections. He is already hitting the ball the other way quite well. Arenado is so fun to watch.

Hopefully, the Cardinals use this day off to regroup after such a bad game on Sunday. It will be interesting to see how Oliver Marmol will help them bounce back.
