Thomas grew up wonderful Clayton, Missouri where Cardinals sing, and Busch is both a frosty beverage and a place to watch baseball. He moved to New York City in 2000 where he studied English at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, and went to Yankees and Mets games. After teaching at St. Francis for one year, he moved to Shanghai where he continued teaching and coaching tennis. After five years outside of the US, he now lives with his lovely girlfriend in sunny Oakland, California.
