St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong and pitcher Adam Wainwright were named as 2014 BBWAA Awards finalists on Tuesday night during a telecast on the MLB Network.

More from Adam Wainwright

The list of finalists are as follows and all presentations can be seen live on the MLB Network:
Monday, November 10, 6:00 p.m. ET:
AL Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year: Jose Abreu, Dellin Betances, Matt Shoemaker
NL Jackie Robinson Rookie of the Year: Jacob deGrom, Billy Hamilton, Kolten Wong

Tuesday, November 11, 6:00 p.m. ET:
AL Manager of the Year: Mike Scioscia, Buck Showalter, Ned Yost
NL Manager of the Year: Bruce Bochy, Clint Hurdle, Matt Williams

Wednesday, November 12, 6:00 p.m. ET:
AL Cy Young Award: Felix Hernandez, Corey Kluber, Chris Sale
NL Cy Young Award: Johnny Cueto, Clayton Kershaw, Adam Wainwright

Thursday, November 13, 6:00 p.m. ET:
AL Most Valuable Player: Michael Brantley, Victor Martinez, Mike Trout
NL Most Valuable Player: Clayton Kershaw, Andrew McCutchen, Giancarlo Stanton

The only question for Wainwright is whether he finishes as the runner-up or in third place. Kershaw is the no-brainer decision to win his third CYA despite having missed the first month of the 2014 season. Regardless, it will be the fourth top-three finish in CYA voting for the Cardinals pitcher.

Wong will probably lose out to Hamilton but it’s an honor just to be considered as one of the top three rookies in the league.
