St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday addressed the media at the Winter Warm-Up today, offering his thoughts on PEDs and having Jhonny Peralta as a teammate. Holliday’s full comments can be seen on YouTube.

After taking a month off to rest, Allen Craig is ready to start running again.

Jon Jay opened up on the acquisition of Peter Bourjos.

"“I said, ‘Hey, this has happened before,’” Jay said Sunday. “It’s all to win a championship. That’s what the main focus is around here. … I’ve been in the same situation before. Nothing changes for me the way I go about my business.”"

Jay will likely be a spot starter in center field and will be coming off the bench.

Former manager Tony LaRussa is still getting used to adding the HOF 14 or HOF 2014 to his signature. At the same time, he’s still getting adjusted to being a member of the Hall of Fame–while not officially inducted until this July.

"“I haven’t been going around places where you’re reminded of it much (until this weekend),” La Russa said. “This has been a surreal experience. … I had a real strong opinion, and still do, that the Hall of Fame is for players, great players who distinguish themselves. I still have the same opinion. I’m not really comfortable. I never felt that good fortune was Hall of Fame criteria. I’m not turning it back, though.”"

Matt Adams has shed a few pounds and will work on hitting the slider thrown by left-handed pitchers.

Stephen Piscotty, James Ramsey and Carson Kelly are all non-roster invitees to the Cardinals spring training camp.

Piscotty did a Q&A, which the transcript can be read here.
