Just about to get under way in Hollywood land for game 3 of the 2013 NLCS where the St. Louis Cardinals are trying to put a strangle hold on this series with a 3-0 lead.

The Cardinals send their staff ace, Adam Wainwright to the mound to take on a rookie in Hyun-Jin Ryu.  Sounds familiar right?  The first two games was the Dodgers sending their Cy Young winners against two Cardinal rookies and we know how that turned out.  So the Redbirds are taking nothing for granted and realize they need to wake up their bats and score some runs.

Hanley Rameriez and Andre Ethier are both in the starting lineup today after missing game 2 with injuries.  Rameriez has a fractured rib, but took batting practice today and looked good.  Ethier has been dealing with shin issues and is going to give it a go in center field.

Facing a left hander tonight Mike Matheny has gone with Matt Adams in the sixth hole and starting Pete Kozma at shortstop.

If game three is anything like the first two, tonight is going to be hours of drama and fun for everyone.  Stop on by to chat with us as we root on the Redbirds!
