The St. Louis Cardinals announced details today for the first two postseason games of the club’s 26th postseason appearance.

With their win last night over the Cincinnati Reds, the Pittsburgh Pirates will take on the Cardinals for the first time ever during the postseason.

Game Schedule & Highlights
NLDS Game 1 – Thursday, October 3, 2013 – Busch Stadium – 4:07 PM (TBS)
From 1-3 PM, there will be a Pre-Game Pep Rally in the Ballpark Village Parking Lot featuring music by DJ Todd Thomas, entertainment, prizes, Fredbird, Team Fredbird, 2011 World Series trophy, Hardee’s Mobile Diner and more. Former Cardinal pitcher Andy Benes will be signing autographs from 2 -3 PM. The Budweiser Clydesdales will be staged in the Ballpark Village Lot.

Busch Stadium gates will open at 2 PM and every fan will receive a Cardinals Rally Towel, courtesy of Mercy.

The Pre-Game Ceremony will start around 3:30 PM. The schedule for the pregame is as folllows:
*Budweiser Clydesdales will parade the warning track
*National Anthem by Four Digit Chord, an a cappella group of civilian and military volunteers at Scott Air Force Base
*Service members from Scott Air Force Base will hold a large flag during the anthem
*Colors presented by 375 AMW Honor Guard at Scott Air Force Base
*Cardinals broadcaster Mike Shannon will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

NLDS Game 2 – Friday, October 4, 2013 – Busch Stadium – 12:07 p.m. (MLBN)
From 9:30-11:30 AM, there will be a Pre-Game Pep Rally in the Ballpark Village Parking Lot featuring music by DJ Todd Thomas, entertainment, prizes, Fredbird, Team Fredbird, 2011 World Series trophy, Hardee’s Mobile Diner and more. A former (not yet announced) Cardinal player will sign autographs from 10:30-11:30 AM.
Busch Stadium gates will open at 10 AM and every fan will receive a Cardinals Rally Towel, courtesy of MasterCard and Firestone.

The Pre-Game Ceremony will start around 11:45 AM. The schedule for the pregame is as folllows:
*National Anthem by Generald Wilson, retired Navy Petty Officer 1st Class
*The 206th Regional Support Group Army Reserves, based in Springfield, Illinois, will hold a large flag during the anthem
*Colors presented by Joint Service Color Guard -US Transportation Command at Scott Air Force Base
*Cy Young Award Winner & Cardinals Pitcher Chris Carpenter will throw the ceremonial first pitch
