What else is there for a man like Stan Musial to accomplish?

He is a:
*24 x All Star
*3 Time World Champion
*3 Time NL MVP
*Was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom

…this is merely just a short short list of all of the accomplishments in the life of Stan “The Man” Musial.

Tuesday night at the 82nd All Star game it was announced Stan Musial was the winner of the
Midsummer Classics competition that was awarded to the greatest All Star game moment of all time.

He won the 1955 All Star game on the strength of a 12th inning walkoff blast that was enough to win the fans over. The contest included greats like Ted Williams, Babe Ruth, Pete Rose, and even ended in a Cal Ripken-Stan Musial showdown for the title.

For a man who has won nearly every accolade in the baseball world and is nothing short of a St. Louis and MLB institution, this proves to be just another much deserved accomplishment to his historical career that continues to impress even to this day.

Stan will ALWAYS be the man, and this just solidifies how deep his legacy is for future generations. There will never be another like Stan the Man!
