On a day to honor one of the games greats, the red hot Cardinals won 5 of their last 6, Friday on the strength of two Pujols HRs

Complete Recap

At this point what else can we say about our Cardinals, they are HOT HOT HOT. They walked into Dodger Stadium against the team Jackie Robinson played for when they were in Brooklyn and came out victorious after another destructive affair.

Lance Berkman hits yet another two HRs and Albert Pujols goes for two as well. Colby hits 3 doubles, the struggling Yadier goes 4 for 4, David Freese goes 3 for 5…I mean the stat line tagged above is just endless.

What we do know, the Cardinals are putting up a much needed scoring front just over the last week to make them look like a championship team. This last week was a complete turnaround that was definitely much needed. The Cards are now 7-7 and looking to finally vault that .500 mark for the first time this season.

All season all our fans knew the Cardinals were the underdog, and maybe that’s just the way they like it. Early on the way they were playing you thought well maybe this is just early season jitters, but after a few days, you couldn’t help but think something was wrong.

Tony went on a rant himself proclaiming this was just early season and they had an entire season to make up for it….boy, they are doing that and then some.
