Grapefruit League Game #3: Cards Vs. Mets

THE GOOD: Jon Jay (2-3) and Tyler Greene (1-3 with a run) continued to make their cases offensively. Lance Lynn was very effective in relief of a decent-but-unspectacular Jake Westbrook, with three shutout innings and three strikeouts. The rest of the pitchers (Motte, Miller, and Salas) did great work as well. Keep an eye on Adron Chambers (1-1 today, a .600 average).

THE BAD: Although Colby Rasmus had a single in three at-bats, he had an error in the outfield that led to two runs in the second inning. It seems that his defensive woes continue …

THE UGLY: Three strikeouts for Albert Pujols today and three left on base, to the tune of a .000 batting average through three games. Is someone distracted???
