Tomorrow is the final day of Spring Training for the Cards. The club seems comfortable and ready to go with all the holes filled in the roster. Jaime Garcia earned the fifth spot in the rotation. Kyle McClellan will be a big arm in the bullpen. David Freese will be the man at the hot corner. And the Cardinals are heavy favorites in the NL Central.

Freese told he’s the third baseman – David Freese earned the job at third with a solid spring at the plate. And more importantly off the field. Freese handled all the questions surrounding his character by answering every reporter’s question on the matter. His maturity should be invaluable for the youngster’s first full year in the bigs.

LaRue sent for additional scan; Anderson joins camp – “Jason LaRue was injured in a collision at the plate yesterday and will have a CT scan today.” Bryan Anderson, a lefty bat and catching prospect, is back in Cards camp today. He is a top prospect and could get time with Molina hurt.
